Two years ago Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg launched a global initiative called Internet.org and in partnered with the people of the tech industry. Their Goal to bring a free internet access to more people around the world.
Today that initiative officially launched in the Philippines in partnership with three of the Biggest Communication net work which Smart Communications, Talk ‘N’ Text and Sun Cellular.
There are two ways to have a free internet access.
1. Users can go directly to Internet.org website and browse through the selective website and services under the initiative.
Internet.org’s current list of website will not incur or affect data charges.
2. The Internet.org app is available for download on the desired device. The website and service found on the browser method is same inside the app. The difference is that user’s won’t have go directly on internet.org’s website to access free sites.
